The RAPTOR W fall arrester with self-retracting textile strap and automatic blocking function enables safe working at height and depth.RAPTOR W has a modular design so that all components can be replaced individually, which reduces maintenance times and costs. An energy-absorbing shock absorber protects the device housing and the internal mechanics, reducing continuous shocks and preventing hand injuries when pulling in the rope. The fall arrester has two fall indicators visible to the user, which indicate the functionality of the device from the outside. A red indicator warns the user as soon as the device needs to be checked. This protects the user from a product that is no longer fit for use and also saves time during the mandatory annual inspection. The well thought-out housing design also enables space-saving and device-friendly storage.
RAPTOR W is certified to EN 360:2002 and secures one person with a maximum user weight of 140 kg. The maximum service life is 20 years.
