Tinted injection molded polycarbonate visors provide protection from splinters, spatter and infrared radiation. They are suitable for high loads during oxyacetylene welding, metal casting, gas brazing, light cutting and brazing. Due to the injection moulding process, the visors have a high optical quality in order to achieve optimum visual comfort. Compared to blade sights, which are first formed by the sight holder, the internal stress of injection moulded sights is considerably lower after assembly, resulting in improved resistance. The thickness of the material also ensures increased resistance to impact in extreme temperature ranges, splashes and molten metal EN166 "39". Due to the special design, the visors can also be worn with helmet-mounted hearing protection.
